OUR Approach

STEP 1

First, we help students navigate whether it is a good idea to apply with the SAT/ACT or without the SAT/ACT. To do this we examine past test scores or provide a practice test or have a student sit for a real SAT/ACT without submitting scores to colleges. From there we sort students into 3 pathways:

  1. Students who have SAT/ACT scores they could use in the process of admissions

  2. Students whose scores can improve within 1-2 tests with little effort and/or students who need scores to improve in order to apply to a particular college/university OR scholarship/opportunity

  3. Students whose SAT/ACT scores do not create opportunities and are better suited for test-optional

Step 2

Craft a college list. We examine a student’s existing college list, discuss the best approach to each college, and suggest additional colleges to add to the list

STEP 3

Work on the application and determine whether a student is a good fit for 1-on-1 sessions OR the College Admissions Support Group.
